Psalm 92:1-2 " It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness at night."
We are definitely thanking God for all that He has done in Timothy's life and for all that He will continue to do as Timothy grows and develops. The Lord has brought us through some very hard days and nights over the past 7 months but we have experienced His love and care through it all. As we prepare to take Timothy home, we have confidence that God will support us in what lies ahead.

Well, it looks as though
we will be bringing Timothy home on Wed. or Thurs. of next week!
There are still A LOT of details to work out between now and then - medical supplies, medical equipment, home nursing care, setting up follow-up appointments at Loma Linda, doing an 8-10 hour stay at the hospital in which we are Timothy's primary care givers ( no nurses or monitors!)
Please
continue to pray that the necessary details will be worked out and that mommy will calm down! :) Jon and I are going away Friday/Saturday for a last little break before the wave of homecoming activity hits! :) Thanks for your prayers!
Proverbs 3:25-26 "Do not be afraid of suddden fear...for the Lord will be your confidence..."
We are very excited about Timothy coming home (looking more like next week), but at the same time we have some fears about his safety and care and home. What a wonderful promise from God's Word! We don't need to fear or be concerned or worried. We need to look to God for confidence, strength and reassurance. He will give us just what we need to care for Timothy!
Actual Age: 6 months

Timothy is really looking good! Each day when I go to visit him we have a wonderful time feeding, playing and cuddling. He is learning so much about the world around him!
I know some of you have been wondering about his
development and whether or not he is "on-track". His development has definitely been delayed because of so many health issues during these first 6 months of his life. So even though he is 3 months past his original due date, he doesn't quite interact like a baby born at term would at 3 months. He is developing at his own pace and we are trying to provide enriching and stimulating experiences for him. He does a lot of looking with his eyes and can focus on faces and objects at times. He can grasp items when placed in his hands (if he feels like it :). We are definitely learning a lot about his little personality too!
We are continuing to receive supplies at home to help with his care and hope to bring him home next week!
Praise - God has brought Timothy a long way with the help of a wonderful team of medical personnel
- Timothy has been taking a little more from the bottle at feeding time (30-55 mls)
- Good weight gain
- tolerated his latest immunizations without any reaction or fever
Prayer - all the details that need to be worked out before he comes home
- peace for mommy & daddy (and a few extra hours in each day would be nice too :)
