Psalm 66:5 "Come and see the works of God, Who is awsome in His deeds toward the sons of men."
Indeed we have seen marvelous works of God in Timothy's life. He truly is a miracle!

We are having so much fun with Timothy these days!
He smiles A LOT! He plays and laughs (quietly, since no sound actually escapes his mouth because of the tracheostomy, but we can really see it in face!). He has found his hands and boy, does he like to play with them. He loves listening to and watching the lights of Baby Tad (a really cute frog) as the familiar nursery rhymes and songs play. He could watch him for hours I think.
He started
school this week! Yes, that's right, I said SCHOOL :) He has his own personal infant teacher who comes to our house once a week for an hour and works on developmental activities with him. We are working on visual tracking, turning his head, holding on to objects and upper body strengthening.
He
rolled over from his back to his tummy this week for the first time! Boy was that ever exciting!
The
blood draw on Tuesday went very well. Thanks to all of you who were praying for us. They only had to poke him once! and they got all the blood they needed before we lost the site. Thank you Lord!
Praise - good experience at the blood draw lab
- Timothy is still really healthy
- We were able to go to church as a family this week for the first time
Prayer - we have one different
doctor's appointment each week for the month of November. pray that he would remain healthy as we take him out so often
- On
Tuesday, Nov. 2nd he goes in for a special
radiology study of his kidneys. please pray that this procedure will go smoothly, that it would not be painful for him, that he would not get an infection afterward (there is a slight chance of this), and that they will acquire the necessary info the doctor needs to determine what is happening with his kidneys and if any treatment is necessary
Isaiah 26:3-4 "The steadfast of mind You (God) will keep in perfect peace because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD we have an everlasting Rock."
There are many days when our sense of
peace is gone because we start to focus on all of Timothy's complications. It is on days like these that we need to refocus our attention on the Lord and remember all that he has done for us and Timothy. It is only when we get our eyes off our circumstances and on the Lord that we can experience true peace in the midst of troubled times.

Praise - we had a
great trip to LA last week, despite the horrendous weather. Thanks to all of you who were praying. We had the quickest trip yet! The doctor said the right eye is very stable and the retina is attached. The left eye's retina is settling down. I think he still has some reservations as to the condition of that eye (the eye drops were not stopped yet :( . )We go back in one month.
Prayer - We are taking Timothy to have some
blood drawn on Tuesday. It has been very difficult for the phlebotomists to draw bloodfrom him in the past. His tiny vessels are so damaged from all the IV's and pokes when he was in the NICU that it is very difficult to find good ones now. Please pray that God will provide a highly skilled person and that he will guide them to the perfect spot without havng to poke him numerous times. This is usually a pretty traumatic experience for Timothy ( and mommy!) Please pray that things will go smoothly. The blood work is necessary in order to help the specialists know how to better treat his various conditions.
