Timothy James
"Precious to God"
I was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 8th because my amniotic sac was leaking and I had begun to dilate. I was ordered to lie flat on my back until the baby came ( I was due April 2nd!). Well, on Dec. 17th my water broke at 7:15pm and Timothy James decided to come early. He was breech and already on his way out, so the doctor did an emergency C-section and at 10:20 pm he was delivered. He went straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and has been there ever since. Timothy was only 25 weeks along in his development (a "normal" pregnancy lasts 40 weeks) so he still has a lot of growing to do.

We have experienced God's answers to our prayers and the prayers of so many of you who keep up on Timothy's progress. Sometimes God's answer has been "no", sometimes it's "not now" or "wait" and sometimes it's "yes". But no matter what the answer is, we know that God knows our situation, He cares, and He is able to work in it. Therefore, we put all our trust in Him and choose to place our focus and faith in the loving hands of our God.
Be sure to check out the "new photos" link in the top right corner of the website. I am trying to post new pictures as monthly albums and add to the album throughout the month.
The swallow study last Friday, was not quite what we thought it would be. It was just an initial screening. Now we will be scheduled for the part where he will have to drink the berium and x-rays and video will be taken.
We also had to reschedule our occupational/physical therapy evaluation due to flooding at the school. We will try again next Wed. Feb. 9th.
Praise - The Lord still continues to provide for Timothy's medical needs and the nursing help for mommy & daddy's physical needs ( ie. time to rest) :)
Prayer - For healing of the left eye retina (it still needs to reattach) and restored vision to that eye
- continued health for Timothy, mommy (I've been sick this week) and daddy
