Just a quick update:
Originally, we had indicated we would not be updating this website after January. Well,
God has provided for us to keep the website going so you can keep checking for updates and prayer requests. Don't forget to check for new pictures on the webshots.com site (see link in upper right corner of this site).
The
blood draw on Thursday went great! Thanks to your prayers, we had the same person who drew his blood last time and did so well. She got it on the first poke and got the amount of blood they needed to run the tests.
Prayer- we will be losing our weekend night nurse after this weekend. Please pray that the agency would be able to provide a new nurse for us by next weekend. We trust that God will provide just the right person to care for Timothy and to give mommy & daddy their much needed rest.
James 1:2-4 "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
When Jon and I get tired of the details and demands of Tinothy's condition, we try to remember verses like these.
Weight: 14 lbs. 15 oz.
Length: 25 inches
We are having a busy week! Sunday and Monday mommy & daddy went away for a quick period of R&R and had a great time in Oceanside!
Tuesday we had a
cardiology appointment which went very well. There is a possibility that Timothy may have some pulmonary hypertension related to his lung condition. (plain English=his heart may be working harder due to his compromised lung function). We will have an
echocardiogram done March11. This will require sedation (mommy's not excited about that prospect!) but will show whether or not the hypertension exists and if the cardiologist needs to see him again or not.
Wednesday we had a
physical therapy evaluation. The therapist said he is doing well and she is going to recommend that he have physical therapy 3 times a week!
Thursday morning (early) we will be
going in to the lab to have blood drawn for some more tests.
Friday we will be going for our first
eyeglass fitting and hopefully have those glasses back in about a week!
Praise - God continues to give us daily strength. Boy, do we need it. We are both feeling kinda weary right now!
Prayer - that the blood draw would go smoothly - Just the right person to draw, that they'd find a spot on the first try and get all the blood they need
