Timothy James

"Precious to God"

I was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 8th because my amniotic sac was leaking and I had begun to dilate. I was ordered to lie flat on my back until the baby came ( I was due April 2nd!). Well, on Dec. 17th my water broke at 7:15pm and Timothy James decided to come early. He was breech and already on his way out, so the doctor did an emergency C-section and at 10:20 pm he was delivered. He went straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and has been there ever since. Timothy was only 25 weeks along in his development (a "normal" pregnancy lasts 40 weeks) so he still has a lot of growing to do.

Isaiah 25:1 " O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness."

This is so true in the life of our little family. God has worked wonders in all of us and how neat to know that He had plans for all of us from long ago and He works our those plans in perfect faithfulness.

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz.

Praise - Timothy had an echocardiogram done on Friday. This was to check for possible pulmonary hypertension (meaning his heart may have been working too hard due to his compromised lung condition). Originally they were going to sedate him, but God orchestrated it so that they did not have too! What a praise! The test results were read by the Chief Pediatric Cardiologist at Loma Linda and she said there were no signs of pulmonary hypertension and he would not need to followed by cardiology on a regular basis. Thank you Lord!
- we had also been praying about our need for nurses on the weekend and God has provided a wonderful day nurse who will be here on a regular basis! We also have a night nurse substituting this weekend, but are still in need of a regular person for the weekend nights.
