Psalm 118:8 "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man."Well, we've been to the kidney doctor today and she has some concerns. Timothy's blood work results were very good, but his urine results showed an
area of concern. There is
protein present in his urine which can damage/scar his kidney(s). We don't know if it's coming from the good kidney or the bad kidney, but either way, it's not good and can cause damage. She is also concerned about his
blood pressure because high pressure can cause damage to the kidneys as well; and she wants to put him on medication. We are not comfortable with this treatment at the present time. We are not convinced he has high blood pressure so we will be monitoring it at home to see if it requires treatment or not.
Please pray with us:1. that his blood pressure would be in the normal range
2. that Timothy would tolerate having his blood pressure checked often (it's not his favorite thing!)
3. that his kidneys would function correctly and receive no further damage
4. no protein would be found in his urine at future checks, especially in 3-4 months when we go back for our next check
5. for wisdom as mommy & daddy seek to make the best decisions for Timothy
