Timothy James

I was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 8th because my amniotic sac was leaking and I had begun to dilate. I was ordered to lie flat on my back until the baby came ( I was due April 2nd!). Well, on Dec. 17th my water broke at 7:15pm and Timothy James decided to come early. He was breech and already on his way out, so the doctor did an emergency C-section and at 10:20 pm he was delivered. He went straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and has been there ever since. Timothy was only 25 weeks along in his development (a "normal" pregnancy lasts 40 weeks) so he still has a lot of growing to do.

Philippians 4:19 "And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Well, praise the Lord - the surgery went very well and we are home! Timothy is doing great (although I think the Tylenol with codeine may have something to do with it :) Please pray that his recovery over the next couple of days would go well also. Thank you for your faithfulness to lift us up in prayer!

Well, we have a couple of big news items/prayer requests:

1. Timothy is going in for surgery tomorrow, Wed. May 17 to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. The surgery will be in the morning and if all goes well, the doctor is planning to send him home the same day! Please pray that all will go well with the procedure and all the hospital staff involved.

2. We are expecting our second child! This is truly a blessing and we are very happy. Naturally, because of our experience with Timothy we are somewhat apprehensive as well. We would appreciate your prayers for peace of mind, a healthy baby and pregnancy and just the right prenatal care for mommy & baby.
