"Precious to God"
I was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 8th because my amniotic sac was leaking and I had begun to dilate. I was ordered to lie flat on my back until the baby came ( I was due April 2nd!). Well, on Dec. 17th my water broke at 7:15pm and Timothy James decided to come early. He was breech and already on his way out, so the doctor did an emergency C-section and at 10:20 pm he was delivered. He went straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and has been there ever since. Timothy was only 25 weeks along in his development (a "normal" pregnancy lasts 40 weeks) so he still has a lot of growing to do.

Busy as a little bee, Timothy has just turned 3!
Yesterday, December 17th, we celebrated Timothy's 3rd birthday. We had a big bash with friends and family celebrating Timothy's miraculous life! Check out the party photos in his 3rd birthday album.
Our Special Birthday Note to Timothy:
"Mommy & Daddy want you to know that we love you and you are precious to us. But even more importantly, you are precious to God (Isaiah 43:4). Our prayer for you has always been Psalm 119:17 'Deal bountifully with Your servant [Timothy] that he may live and keep Your word'. The Lord has dealt bountifully with you - He has healed you, sustained you, and worked miracles in your life! Your name means 'Honoring God' and we pray that you would live in a way that is honoring to God and that you would 'only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart, for consider what great things He has done for you' (1 Samuel 12:24)."
