Our first family Christmas picture, December 25, 2003.

1-15-04: Timothy has had three surgeries! The "ruffled" strip on his abdomen is the dressing covering the incision in which all three surgeries were performed.

• Surgery #1 - At 11 days old for intestinal damage
• Surgery #2 - At 12 days old for internal bleeding from liver
• Surgery #3 - At 20 days old for internal bleeding from liver again

1/26/04: Our very own little "Pillsbury Dough Boy" — he has had extreme swelling as a result of his surgeries and infection. Most of the swelling went down a few days after this picture.

The little plastic bag attached to his abdomen is a result of the 1st surgery. It is attached to the functioning part of his intestine, which had to be cut & pulled up through his skin. It is the "drain" for his intestine, so it's filled with...well, I think you get the picture! We lovingly refer to it as his "diaper bag." :-)
